The NAMS Annual Meeting Student Travel Awards
The NAMS Annual Meeting Student Travel Awards are presented annually to outstanding young students who are just beginning research in the membrane area. Preference will be given to undergraduates and graduate students within the first 2 years of their graduate program.

Each NAMS Annual Meeting Travel Award will provide up to $1000 reimbursement for reasonable expenses associated with attending the meeting (e.g. travel cost, registration, workshops), and a free one-year membership in NAMS. Applicants must be nominated by a current member of NAMS.

The NAMS Travel Awards
The NAMS Travel Awards will be presented annually to outstanding individuals who are near the start of their professional careers in membrane science and technology. Preference will be given to graduate students, post-docs, and new faculty members (during the first two years of their initial appointment).

Applicants who have not received any kind of prior NAMS Travel Award will receive priority. Current NAMS Board Members are not eligible to apply.

Each award will provide up to $1250 reimbursement for reasonable expenses associated with attending a NAMS Annual Meeting or membrane-related meeting or conference. Preference will be given to applicants attending a NAMS or ICOM meeting. Applicants must be current members of NAMS and must agree to write a one-page report on the meeting which will be published in a future issue of the NAMS Membrane Quarterly. Reimbursement will be distributed after the meeting upon submission of appropriate receipts and the one-page write-up on the conference

The Elias Klein Founders' Travel Awards
The Elias Klein Founders' Travel Awards program supports students needing limited financial assistance ($500) to attend a NAMS Annual or ICOM Meeting to present their research (oral or poster presentation). This award program is named in honor of Elias Klein, whose vision and spirit guided the founding of NAMS in 1985.

Students who are either NAMS members or will register for the Annual NAMS Meeting are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to students who have not received any prior financial assistance from NAMS.
